An evening of Classical Fun.
Celebrating Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Rowley, and Shostakovich
Message from Kate:
My last Concerto Bonanza was held at St. Mary’s Church, Hitchin on 28th June 2025.
We had such a fantastic turn out; the church was full. What a joy to welcome many of my past pupils to share my last Concerto Bonanza with me. One former pupil who came, played at my first Concerto Bonanza in the Watford Town Hall 60 years ago.
I would like to thank and congratulate my six talented and enthusiastic students who played stunningly, performing a variety of concerto movements for the first time with an orchestra conducted by the charming Rufus Frowde, and from memory. Their ages ranged from 10 to 17 and they overwhelmed us with their confidence, assurance, and musical insight. I am so proud of them all.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon in June 2025, we gathered at Edgeworth House in Arlesey to celebrate the music of Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert. Opus 3 hosted a classical concert that truly fulfilled their promise to enchant and inspire.
A large audience joined us to experience the timeless impact of classical music, skilfully performed by the exceptional Opus 3 Piano Trio: Andy Massey, Emma Crossley, and Toby Turton. It was a wonderful opportunity to be surrounded by the incredible works of Beethoven and Schubert and to enjoy the captivating artistry these talented musicians bring to the stage.

Join us for a Charity Concert at 11am on Sunday 1 March 2026 at Edgeworth House, 121 High Street, Arlesey, Beds, SG15 6SX.
